This weekend was a rollercoaster of emotions for my family and me. On Friday, my 7-year-old son achieved a big milestone as he earned his yellow stripe belt at karate. It was a proud moment for us as a family to see him progress and develop his skills. However, Friday night brought a challenge as our home network went down for half an hour. Despite fixing the issue, the wifi still seems to be running slowly, which is a bit of a concern.
On Saturday, we decided to have a fun day out and visited Nanny Kay’s for dinner. We indulged in delicious wagu burgers and caught up with my brother and sister-in-law. My older son stayed the night at his Nanny’s, and my husband and I had a movie night at home. We watched the latest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and the film “Troll” on Netflix, which was a brilliant movie.
Today, we went to my parents’ place for lunch and had a traditional Scottish meal of haggis. We also enjoyed a flight of single malt whisky, which was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
The boys have been busy with their homework and now that they’re settled, I’ve finally gotten around to setting up this blog. I’m excited to share my experiences and thoughts with you all and hope you’ll follow along on this journey.
